I have been a personal trainer for many years now and i can tell you that the biggest excuse i hear is that people don't have time. Time to workout, time to meal prep, time get good sleep. I have heard it all, and it all comes down to one thing. DISCIPLINE. The best way to start implementing discipline is to wake up early. That needs to be the first step, all other things will fall into place as long as you start waking up early. Here are some other things to help you start implementing discipline into your everyday life. Start taking short 5 minute or more walks after every meal. It helps with digestion and if you absolutely cannot workout that day at least you got some steps in for the day. Start tracking your food. Use a calorie counter app. Track as much as you can that way you can see the foods you are eating and what those calories represent in your diet. For the everyday average person tracking calories can be a lot to handle, but it is worth it. Start prepping your food for 2-3 days at a time. When you have healthy food readily available you are less likely to make bad food choices. Start a workout routine and stay consistent. Set a step goal for every day and make sure to hit that goal if not pass it. Make your routine hard but not hard enough to where it becomes daunting. After a few weeks amp up the workout. Practice unwinding before bed (A nightly routine) Better sleep =Better choices, more muscle, muscle recovery, better mood, less fatigue, less soar, etc...Implement these things in your life and start living your life better and more disciplined.
